Aim was to create a software for equipment in a sawmill. System was desgined for measuring, collecting board measurements. The whole solution is to automate the processes of wood processing. The device is equipped with sensors that measure the size, width and weight of a piece of wood that is ultimately to be cut to pre-selected dimensions.
We have prepared software to operate the solution. ZM Jablonski's project is based on sensors for measuring weight, length and width. Software was developed with C++, WinAPI, MFC.
EMBIQ created a solution based on the data taken from the sensors and its settings, the application calculates the optimal way to cut the board, minimizing losses. Once the calculations are made, the application controls the positioning of the saws and other elements of the machine in such a way as to cut the boards as intended.
We designed a system that, based on the collected parameters, cut each piece of wood into identical boards, depending on the paramters entered by the customer.
